How SoCAd has grown
- 2024
SoCAd is Established
Founded in 2024 with its first chapter at Bayero University Kano to facilitate career guidance and capacity building for Nigerian youth, especially students and graduates.
- 2024
Inaugural BUK Energy Conference
Leveraging experience, resources, and personnel, SoCAd delivered the first BUK Energy Conference focused on industry careers, internships, and scholarships.
- 2025
Webinars & Community Outreach
A year of impact featuring the SoCAd-CPED Hybrid Scholarship Webinar, Pitching Essentials Webinar, secondary school career outreach, and the SIWES/Internship Webinar.
- 2026
2nd BUK Energy Conference
SoCAd returned with an expanded energy conference, deepening its mission to build employable energy professionals through skills, innovation, and industry readiness.
